Investigation by Medico-legal Advisers
If our Medico-legal Advisers believe there are sufficient merits to further investigate the claim, there may be a need to seek some or all of the medical records. These are then reviewed by our Medico-legal Advisers, sometimes in conjunction with leading medical practitioners, to provide an initial view on the available evidence.
Subject to the outcome of any further investigations by our Medico-legal Advisers, the case is then reviewed by our legal team at a weekly screening meeting. If it is deemed there are sufficient prospects of a successful claim being pursued, the case is allocated to the most appropriate member of our legal team who will then contact you to discuss the next step.
