David joined Attwaters in 1977, qualified as a solicitor in 1979 and became a partner of the firm in 1981 and Senior Partner in 2011. He heads the Medical Negligence Department. David has considerable experience in medical negligence (an area of law referred to by the legal profession as clinical negligence). He represented the claimant in the leading case of Wilsher v Essex Area Health Authority, heard in the House of Lords. He is listed as a leader in the field of clinical negligence in Chambers Directory.
Areas of Practice
David specialises in maximum severity compensation and fatal accident claims and is a highly experienced advocate in Inquests. David has a particular interest in cases involving substandard care of elderly and psychiatric patients.
